The Founder
Hi, I'm Rosalyn Wik. I'm a strategic, solutions-oriented consultant with a passion for helping mission-driven organizations build strong, sustainable organizations behind the work they do.
My career has given me the opportunity to experience nonprofit leadership from just about every seat at the table. I began in nonprofit finance and management, serving in a variety of financial leadership roles before moving into executive leadership and spending more than eight years as an Executive Director. I've also served on numerous boards of directors at both the state and local level.
That experience shapes the way I approach consulting today. I understand the financial side of running a nonprofit, but I also understand the realities that don't always show up on a spreadsheet - managing teams, working with boards, navigating funding requirements, balancing competing priorities, building systems, solving problems, and trying to keep the mission moving forward when there never seems to be enough time or capacity.
Through The Niche Collaborative, I bring that experience to nonprofit leaders to help strengthen finance, organizations and strategy. Whether an organization needs ongoing financial leadership, support through a transition, help developing better systems and processes, or simply an experience perspective on a complicated problem, my goal is to meet organizations where they are and help them move forward.
Relationships and connection are also a big part of how I work. I believe some of the best solutions come from collaboration - bringing the right people, perspectives, and ideas together rather than assuming there is one "right" way to do things.
And while my work is primarily remote, I'm rarely afraid of a little distance. I'm also a certified travel advisor and enthusiastic traveler, which makes working with organizations across the country, and around the globe, a natural fit.
I've been in your seat. Now I get to use that experience to help make the work a little easier for the people who are there today.
